Re: The Video Game Thread
I got a PS4 along with Killzone. I'm not a fan of the series, but I wanted a eye candy game built exclusively for a next gen system. Although the game looks nice, I can't help be a little disappointed. We're obviously hitting diminishing returned for game graphics. Hopefully the next batch of next-gen games are more impressive.

My Dad always gives out good bonuses to his employees at the end of the year if we had a good harvest. Well we did. Everyone got a wad of cash and a couple hundred dollar gift certificate to the local butcher. Everyone but me. I got an Xbox One.
He told me if he gave me cash I'd just save it and not have fun so he bought me the Xbox. lol I love my Dad so much.
Anyway, after 24 hours it's neat. I love the snap feature and I only have Forza and Madden but damn they look good. Forza is really thin, but I knew that already. However the looks and physics make me really stoked for FM6 in a couple years.

Re: The Video Game Thread
I should probably put this in the rant thread but I'm generally good about being a casual gamer. I don't allow myself to game before 9pm, and I'm in bed by midnight no matter what. However a lot of my friends are into hot lapping in Forza 5 and it's fun to trade best lap times back and forth. So for about three days straight I've been staying up way too late playing. Probably logging 4-5 hours a night gaming. Been shooting for some top 100 times. So far I only have a couple but with some of the tracks having a few hundred thousand times recorded it feels like an accomplishment. But it's a [expletive] video game! Makes me feel like an even bigger loser then anything.

Re: The Video Game Thread
I guess the XB1 hasn't been selling too hot so MS is going to package Titanfall with the console for the same price. That's a good thing because the titanfall impressions have been mega positive.
Anyway, to the XB1 owners who bought at launch...
