Badgers Star Trek pitch was totally just a shout out to Kinsey on Mad Men.

It's almost like the characters know that there are only 7 more episodes to go.cardsfansince82 wrote:TREAD LIGHTLY

It's great to see Cranston rewarded with all these Hollywood roles (and he doesn't seem to be saying no much--more power to him there, I say), but why hasn't that happened for Aaron Paul? Aside from the fact that he's great, it seems like more people would be casting him just to co-opt the credibility of Breaking Bad. Feels like there's enough depth to Jesse where movie-goers would be able to see past the douche element of the character in the actor (I mean, if that's part of the issue).

The Star Trek scene was hilarious on its own, but it's even funnier considering what they were likely nodding to- Chekhov's gun.
Chekhov's gun is a dramatic principle which requires every element in a narrative to be necessary and irreplaceable, and for everything else to be removed.

Given Gilligan's penchant for colors, I had to literally pause it halfway through the car wash scene. Both Walt and Skyler were in complete beige outfits, eerily reminiscent of the Gray Matters party from season one. I assume that beige means "successful" or something.
