Did you watch the Eccleston ep - "Dalek", my favorite ep of the New Who. I like Matt a lot too. Sad to see him go, but excited to see what the New Old guy can do.Cole Burns wrote:I'm a huge Matt Smith fan because he was the Doctor when I started watching (I'm a recent adopter). Although, I went back and started watching from the pilot of the reboot, but Eccleston was a bit too much for me. The writing was kind of poor too. So I skipped ahead to the Tennant episodes but was real "meh" about them, too. I know most Who fans will hurl rocks at me for saying that, but I just didn't care for him. Don't know why. So then I went head in with Smith and loved it. Plus, Amy Pond was just so...yeah, I could watch her all day. So, there was that too.
Also, teared up at the end of Angels Take Manhattan. The Van Gogh episode was one of the best things I've ever seen on TV.

I remember liking "Dalek" a lot, actually. But the rest of the series was hit and miss for me. The Slitheens were pretty awful IMO. And the "Bad Wolf" subplot was very cool, but failed in execution I thought. Also, Harriet Jones is annoying.wart57 wrote:Did you watch the Eccleston ep - "Dalek", my favorite ep of the New Who. On the other hand, "The End of the World" was one of my favorite episodes of all time. It showed the dual nature of the Doctor, as both self-sacrificing and self-seeking. It also showed his detective abilities, more so than any Matt Smith episode I think. Plus, the final days of Earth concept was pretty cool. But the rest of the season? Meh.

Quick Draw on Hulu looks like it might be pretty funny.

We need to get this Badger Star Trek spec script into production.

I'm watching Talking Bad. Julie Bowen is one of those people who thinks she's the only person smart enough to think her thoughts. Shut up and let the genius behind the show open his mouth for two seconds.
A famous actress is a monstrous narcissist. Shocking, I know. It's still annoying.

Yeah, that was annoying as hell. I appreciate that she's a huge fan of the show, but come on... nobody wants to hear the chick from Happy Gilmore talking over Vince Gilligan on a show dedicated to talking about Breaking Bad.trill wrote:I'm watching Talking Bad. There is apparently a tumblr dedicated to videos of Hank pooping and figuring out spoilers:
