Totally forgot this dude existed in real life
Orioles released RHP Joel Pineiro.
Pineiro signed a minor league contract with the Orioles this year, but he never threw a pitch with the organization, as he was still in rehab mode from shoulder surgery last July. The 34-year-old is unlikely to resurface in the majors in the near future.

I'm struggling to remember who he is. Is this the Left Hander from the Tigers we traded for a few years back? Help me out.go birds wrote:Totally forgot this dude existed in real life

Am assuming every Cardinal fan who wasn't in a coma from 2007-09 knows who Pineiro was. He actually had a perfect Dave Duncan season in 2009. Just stopped walking people, ever.

Nah, I'm just kidding. He's the type of player that gets mixed up with those other guys because of lack of results, etc. He's like a Meol Pinwellsaroth.

Looks like she starred in a Univision rip-off of "Baywatch," entitled "Motorboat."Vidor wrote:Jebus, really?Jocephus wrote: edit: and this is apparently his spouse

After getting sent to triple-A in April, Wallace played 60 games there and put up an OPS of .952.heyzeus wrote:The Asstros just optioned Brett Wallace to AAA after hitting .047 so far.
He got called back up again, and probably has had the best stretch he's ever had in the bigs. He's hit .282/.338/.577 in 21 games in July. Maybe he's a late bloomer.
