I just had a horrible realization--Don knocked up Sylvia. Sincerely hope I'm wrong.

Did Pete ever learn about the baby? I gave up after 2.5 seasons or so (to repeat myself again) because I found it a boring show about, exclusively, horrible people--though I always found the actual ad men stuff very interesting. Anyway, I was curious about Pete/Peggy/baby.

That baby is completely uninvolved in the storyline for at least the past 3 seasons. I actually find that quite curious, and I'm not certain if it is on purpose (like that is supposed to tell us something about Peggy, that she has completely forgotten that she has a child), or if the writers have completely forgotten that Pete and Peggy have a child who has to be like 8 years old now.

It was either last season or the previous, there was a moment where Peggy vaguely referenced it talking to him when she gave him a Don Draper speech about how we all have to make hard choices and when we do, we put them behind us and get past it.

So he knows he has a kid out there somewhere.

You people aren't following along! Peggy gave the baby up for adoption, and she told Pete that. I forget when.

I could have sworn her sister still had the kid. But her entire family hasn't been seen in years.

I think. Damn you Netflix-- you've ruined my ability to remember tv show plots for more than 3 weeks.

After Peggy was seen popping out a kid, there were shots of her and her family and a child--this was around the time that she was hanging out with Father Colin Hanks. But that turned out to be the sister's child. There was a whole scene where Pete and she had a confrontation and she says "I could have had you" and tells him that she gave up his son for adoption.

I saw the 'I could have had you' scene. But I don't recall the reveal that that wasn't her baby at home. Perhaps I watched right past it.

Yup, she specifically said she'd put the baby up for adoption.
