Brought her home yesterday afternoon. Still showing the same symptoms. The vet ran numerous tests, and everything came back negative (also, the vet bill was $416...ouch). There are still a couple of tests pending, I won't get the results back from those until next Monday. Possibilities include Toxoplasmosis, which we are preemptively giving her medicine for; if it's that, it's curable, but it could've done permanent brain damage already. They are also testing for this obscure virus... if it's that, it's fatal and there's no cure for it. Other possibilities include a brain tumor, extended period of shock, or something like a concussion. It's still unclear what's wrong. I keep throwing out these major diseases, but it's not necessarily any of those. Hopefully it gets better.

It sort of seems like she's getting better with this medication. She's more lively/attentive, doesn't outright fall over anymore, etc... however, there are still signs of concern: her eyes are almost always dilated still, and while she doesn't fall over, she is still wobbly and has balance issues. I like to think the symptoms are improving (i.e. slowly become less and less pronounced), but maybe I'm just deluding myself into believing that.

I'd hate to have to put her down, I hope this clears up in the next few days. :(

My grandma has a cat and it scratched my nose and made me bleed quite a bit. I wanted to kick that cat's ass and I almost did.

For bicyclist Rudi Saldia, you could say a cat is his co-pilot.

Saldia often buzzes around Philadelphia with his year-old feline Mary Jane perched on his shoulder. Their urban adventures have turned heads on the street and garnered big hits on YouTube.

The 26-year-old bike courier didn't intend to become Internet-famous. He originally shot footage of the outings only to prove to his mom that he was taking Mary Jane — nicknamed MJ — for a spin.

It's an age-old question that has worried countless animal lovers - cats or dogs?

Now scientists have used super high speed cameras to side firmly with felines, at least when it comes to lapping up water.

All humans know that to drink we simply lift a glass, hold it to our mouths and, with the help of gravity, pour the water in.

Cats can take in more liquid with less spillage than dogs, in the same amount of time.
