I liked the way season one ended and I don't really have any other shows on deck so I'll probably stick with it. The theme song is really terrible.JL21 wrote: I kind of had similar feelings- I wasn't really big on season 1. I thought Raylan was a cool character but the show itself was kind of "meh"- kind of a simple cop procedural.
And even into season 2, it was still kind of that same type of show. But it's only gotten better ever since then.
Short answer: if you're willing to wade through appx. 20 episodes of mediocrity, there are 33 episodes (so far) that take a huge step up.
The shallowness and unrealistic stuff never really goes away, but it gets less pronounced and there's so much more character development to make it worth your while.

I was yelling at my TV. They can not end the season like that. Not one, but two...
I finally finished the season, and I stuck with it to the end. It lost a lot of steam for me during the season, but was overall a fairly entertaining show. I don't think I'll watch season 2 though.
I saw that it was renewed and thought, "How is this going to work?" I'll probably watch the 1st episode to see if/how they resume with the same characters. If nothing else, Natalie Zea is easy on the eyes.

I still am entertained by it. But if Joe Carroll is somehow still alive I will probably drop it.

that is my conundrum. if joe carroll dies, then emma is the antagonist. and she is too annoying to be the main antagonist.

Hey now we know! And It's...docellis wrote:I never watched it regularly, but I have to admit, I need to know who the mom is.Popeye_Card wrote:On a related not, I'm happy that this is HIMYM's final season. I would have stopped watching 2 seasons ago, but I feel like I have to keep going. Like that bad hand you chase in poker that you keep getting bled to death and you know you are just going to be embarrassed when you show your cards, but damn if I'm going to fold now.
