The true mark of how mediocre/bad Dexter is that you can ask 10 people for the worst season, and every season except 1 and 4 would be named by someone. Personally, I'd go with the Stiles season.

That's not to say I don't enjoy it. It's a fun show. It's just not good.

i think i stopped after 4...i remember the first season and liked that...and i remember lithgow and liking him but other than that i'm foggy as far as specific seasons/plotlines. i like(d) the show but at the same time i just lost interest. many times when people here are saying how they are enjoying it i'm like "oh yeah i should get back into that" but i don't.

Boom.

I loved season 1, enjoyed season 2, stopped watching during season 3, was told season 4 was as good as 1 so I finished 3and watched 4, then quit on season 5 after it started to suck again.

I enjoy Dexter. Yes, season 1 was great, and Trinity was the best. Still, I like it. Deb is kind of annoying but.....

She's nowhere near as annoying as Carrie on Homeland. Brodie's annoying too, but Carrie is the worst TV charcter in history. She's worthless and would be nowhere near a CIA/FBI case like that. Not to mention, the plot. Did they pick up the worst plot ideas that the producers of 24 turned down? Things that happen on Homeland are so absurd. Still, I watch though. How it wins awards, I'll never know.

On a related not, I'm happy that this is HIMYM's final season. I would have stopped watching 2 seasons ago, but I feel like I have to keep going. Like that bad hand you chase in poker that you keep getting bled to death and you know you are just going to be embarrassed when you show your cards, but damn if I'm going to fold now.

I never watched it regularly, but I have to admit, I need to know who the mom is.

Next season is the final season. They are going to reveal the mother this season, and then utilize a new story-telling format for the final season.

Or so I've read.

I like Dexter, could not get into Homeland. Everyone seems to love it, but it just never grabbed me. Deb is extremely annoying, one of the most annoying characters ever. I was hoping Dex was going to put a knife in her chest last season.
