"Mad Men" has been accused with being too on-the-nose with their symbolism before...I thought playing "Just a Gigolo" over the end of tonight's episode was laying it on a little thick.

Game of Thrones- I haven't read the third book, but now I know the scene everyone was expecting this week...
[SHOW]
The Kingslayer loses his right hand! Man, didn't see that coming. The best swordsman in the land is no more, I take it.

And Craster and the Nights Watch. They're going to finally end his evil ways right?

And my prediction is no way Dany is really going to give up a dragon. She's going to kill that whack job set the slave army free, thus giving her the army she really wants, right?

And I have no idea w/ Melisandre(sp?) the red headed witch is up too.

Don't spoil it and tell me if you know, but those are my guesses, what are yours TV viewers only?

GoT. I fully endorse this version of Missandei over the ten year old version from the book. No nudity, but kinda NSFW.

A valid point. Usually their closing credits musical reference is just a wee bit more subtle.

But there is some irony in the song selection. Because we see that Don is giving money to the Italian lady he's banging; gigolos usually are the ones getting paid, not doing the paying. Which explains why they worked in the flashbacks to Don's youth in the brothel, to help explain his worldview on how cash enters into sexual transactions.

It's hard to top You Only Live Twice in the close of last season when Don gets back on the 'ole double life train for on the noseness.

On the flip side, nothing tops the subtlety of the Mad Men preview for the following week's show, which are hilariously vague.

At this point, I'm convinced they're just [expletive] with their audience by showing absolutely nothing in the next week trailer.

Matt Weiner has admitted that he makes nonsense montages over dramatic music because he won't abide spoilers or hints of anything important that's going to happen.

I've always found this odd given that there's hardly a show where spoilers matter less.

He's a self-important gas bag. I'm a huge fan, but it is what it is. He's the only show runner in hollywood who writes it into his writer contracts that he gets co-writer credit on every episode even if he didn't do more than approve the writer's direction/ideas.
