Something Special for Your Trouble

And to get us back in your good graces, we’re going to offer you a free PC download game from the EA portfolio. On March 18, SimCity players who have activated their game will receive an email telling them how to redeem their free game.

If anyone comes across a good deal on an Xbox gold card, I'd appreciate it being posted here. Mine expires in 2 weeks.

Typically a good deal pops up on slickdeals.net every week or so.

Thanks guys. I'm way out of the loop on video games anymore, but I see GOW4 is on it's way.

The list:
Battlefield 3
Bejeweled 3
Dead Space 3
Mass Effect 3
Medal of Honor: Warfighter
Need For Speed Most Wanted
Plants vs. Zombies
aaaaaaaand SimCity 4 Deluxe Edition.
Maybe it's just me but the inclusion of SimCity 4 seems like a slap in the face. Or, from the Forbes article,
Yo, dawg – I put a SimCity 4 in your SimCity 5 so you can simulate cities while you wait to play SimCity

My PS3 is busted. Won't read any blu ray or game discs, which according to the internets means that I can fix this. I just have to to dismantle my system, remove the blu ray drive, dismantle the blu ray drive, remove the laser chassis, replace the laser, and reassemble all, out of pocket expenses of about $50ish bucks. OR it could be the whole blu ray drive, which I could replace by dismantling the blu ray drive and swapping out the board from the old drive to the new drive, $100ish out of pocket. OR I could send it to Sony and have them "repair" it by sending me a refurbished version of my PS3, $190. OR I could just go to Amazon and buy a new system and [expletive] all that noise.

Done. New system. 2 day shipping. Thanks commerce.
