Disagree completely. Last week Michonne "developed" by having more lines than she's had all season, showing some semblance of a sense of humor, connecting with Carl and bonding with Rick over being crazy. Rick developed by showing that he's not as far gone as Morgan yet and has learned to somewhat rely on others to help him deal with his visions. That, unfortunately, along with Glen and Maggie sneaking a quicky in some dark corner of the prison is about as close to character development as this show has ever gotten.JL21 wrote:I'll admit, though, I liked this episode a lot more than last week's. In general, they underdevelop their characters, and last week's episode is a prime example of how that [expletive] happens. With the Rick v. the Governor stuff reaching fever pitch... they decided to spend 2/3 of an episode on a dude they haven't even mentioned in 2 years. I'd like the show a lot more if it was slower and spent more time helping you care about the characters. As it is now, 90% of the cast might as well be named "Zombie Target #1", "Zombie Target #2", etc...
This week had zero developments, character or otherwise.
It also sated my desire to see them at the very least address the fact that ammo isn't laying around on the ground randomly and in plentiful amounts like we're playing multi-player Goldeneye up in this piece.
