I've been playing Ni No Kuni for the last week. One of the best JRPG's I've played. It's a little too hand holdy for me and you can't choose a difficulty higher than Normal for your first play through, but the animation is so [expletive] gorgeous I don't care.

Yeah, I platinum'd it. Loved that one, and I'm a JRPG connoisseur.

LOL, what a disaster. Amazon pulled it from their site after 1000+ reviews gave it a whopping 1-star rating. Vikings punter Chris Klewe was supposed to be a celebrity reviewer for PC MAG but was unable. He left a trail of destruction via Twitter.

I would have love to have gotten the new Sim City but I think most people knew this would be an issue. EA just blows and this is par for the course with them. I'll wait until it's hacked and cracked and just download it on a torrent.

So, in order to theoretically increase revenue from the small number of people who were going to pirate SimCity but could be talked into buying it if that were made somewhat more difficult, they crippled their product, so it doesn't work for anyone and really destroyed sales? Brilliant!

Of future Sim City games? Perhaps. But I bet they got quite a few customers to bite on this version before this erupted. Diablo 3 had similar issues with its always-online single player and that sold a bunch of copies (most of them via pre-orders or day one purchases).
