Barring something stupid in the next two games and the SEC tournament, it looks like they're in. At this point, they're basically playing for a seed. I've seen in recent articles that the committee takes injuries into account, and I'm hoping that plays a factor with Bowers' injury coinciding with a couple of big losses. Although anything more than a 7 seed seems like a stretch.

Nice beat down of CMA and his band of ginger inbreds last night. I could see a six seed, maybe even a five if they make a deep run in the conference tourney. This team could make a decent run in the dance too. I don't think any of the higher seeds would be happy to have them as a potential second round matchup.

i'm hardly a college bball fan but i do root for mizzou and wichita state and i absolutely hate ku basketball and their fans. a week or so ago that lunardi guy gave a mock tourney pool and it had mizzou and WSU against each other at like 8 and 9 and then KU as a number 1 in the same bracket. obviously that can and probably will change but man i'd have even less interest in the tourney if that happened...

I was pleasantly surprised to see that annihilating Arkansas, coupled with their play in other games recently, has them all the way up to 19th in the KenPom ratings.

There's like a 1% chance KU gets put in a pod with Mizzou or Wichita State this year. They're going to be a 1 or 2 seed, and giving them a potential 2nd round matchup where it's a 50/50 crowd and rivalry game would be the worst reward for a 1/2 seed ever.

I must say that I'm more of a Georgetown fan than MU this year, but I couldn't be happier with a win than the one last night.
