What is minor league spring training like?

You hear about guys being assigned to the major or minor league side of spring training. But I never hear about game results for minor league spring training games. Granted they probably don't play in stadiums for whatever games they have but do they have scrimmage games against other minor league systems or do they just play have intra squad games all spring?

Typically part of the minor league squad, usually the higher levels like AA and AAA, travels with the team and play the minor league affiliates of whatever big league team the Cardinals are playing against.

The only operational squads that the organization have before the draft are A, A+, AA and AAA so I would imagine that the A and A+ players basically just stay at the minor league complex and work on fundamentals with occasional intrasquad games.
