Damn it -now I have to make a circle tour of the breweries of Michigan and convince my wife it's a family vacation.

New Holland, Founders, Bell's, Shorts etc
Try to make it up to Jolly Pumpkin in Traverse City too. They specialize in wild beers (fermented using wild yeast strains), and their stuff is really interesting. Also, Arcadia Ales in Battle Creek has not-to-be-missed food and beer.
Spending my post-shift time from two to six or so (who knows, its only 330) AM at our sister bar, which has sixty or so craft and European beers on draft.
So far:
Omnipollo Nebuchadnezzar, citrusy simple Belgian, 8.5abv but tasted like a 6. Meh.
Brooklyn Brewery Monster, a 10abv barleywine ale. I could live off this [expletive]. Has to be the easiest drinking 10%+ beer Ive ever had. Bartender buddy served it in a Guinness imperial pint. whoof.
Ommegang Three Philosophers, my favorite brewery's badass 9.8 Quadrupel Belgian. Nom nom.
next up: another NY brewery doin the Belgian thing, Captain Lawrence's Golden Delicious. Sticking with all high % non-IPAs tonight.
Thanks for the link Molly. Just in time for St. Patty's day. - which I can never partake in due to work (first world problem).
It's a chain based in Texas, in case you're feeling snobby
I think I can find plenty of good beers on that menu. But notable absents from local beers are some of my favorites - Civil Life, Urban Chestnutt, 2nd Shift.
This past weekend -two relatives mentioned the book "Bitter Brew" (about the Busch family). Apparantly it does an expose on the clan, but finishes on high note of Billy Busch's Kraftig endeavor.
