Would any of you have tried the 65 yard FG with Longwell there?

No way.

But, I don't know why Wilson threw such a short pass on the previous play. They were playing like a team with zero timeouts left, when they had two.... I would've taken a shot 15-20 yards downfield, immediately taken a time out and took a shot at a 45-50 yard field goal.

Granted, there were only six seconds left... I'm sure the were trying to avoid a pass over the middle and the receiver not having enough time to get down and take a timeout.

The headline I had going for that game changed at least 5 times. 4 in the last few minutes.

I'm still puzzled over that last onside kick.

made less than zero sense. Didn't need the ball and a long field all bet ends the game.

Well, the Broncos loss still stings today........... but a buddy put it in pretty good perspective for me. In 1996, John Elway's Broncos went 13-3, and earned home field advantage throughout the playoffs. That year, they lost a stunner at home in the playoffs to a Jacksonville team that they should have handled easily, much like the loss to the Ravens yesterday.

Those Broncos went on to win the Super Bowl the next 2 years. I hope this current Broncos team has that same hunger, because they certainly have the talent.

Belichick challenging a spot like that when the Patriots are scoring at will, up 18 at home in the 4th quarter? Classy.
