Re: Cats
I had such a great time at our Tenth Life foster cat parent appreciation party today. While cat rescue is not the same as helping kids, you could tell the timing was right after Friday to just be around a bunch of great people who make small sacrifices throughout the year. I've never met a Tenth Life person I didn't genuinely like across a rainbow spectrum of personalities. We all went home with bags of goodies and it was like a kitty Christmas when I got home. I am grateful to know these people and be part of this organization.

Re: Cats
We almost adopted Myrtle last time we stopped by the Boulder Humane Society.

She has been abandoned twice but they recommended a home with no other cats. Probably for the best as our 15-year old cat, Phoebe, is very set in her ways and this likely would have caused distress during her senior years.
Plus the wiener dogs would traumatize her.
Sure is a cutie. Hope she finds a nice home soon.
