Wii U coming out Nov 18, $300 for 8 GB SKU, $350 for 32 GB SKU + bundled game
Big selling point is that tablet controller that allows you to stream games to the controller's screen if somebody wants to watch TV while you are gaming. Plus, internet browsing or video calling with the tablet controller while playing on the TV.
Bayonetta 2 announced as Wii U exclusive and online Monster Hunter 3G announced for the West! All over my face...!

Looks good enough for a 3DS up-port:

All they need to do is announce off-TV play for Monster Hunter and they have my sale.

Borderlands 2 is every bit as hilarious and awesome as the first one. And it's gotta be one of the longest single player campaigns I've seen in an FPS. I feel like I've been playing forever, and I gotta be hardly through the first half. No problem with this at all.

can't recommend borderlands 2 enough. its awesome. i really enjoyed the first one and they've taken all the good things about that and multiplied it. just a fun game to begin with but then add in the dialogue, humor, story, etc...really fantastic. first DLC came out this tuesday, i haven't even started it 'cause im still doing stuff in the main campaign. pick it up! if yer on xbox let me know
also got Resident Evil 6. they've bastardized the franchise for quite some time now but im a homer for that series so i still can enjoy it. its like they've combined dead space/gears of war with the inventory of the RE series. strange mix and i can't say it blends well but its got some fun action and again i like the general storyline. this one i honestly probably wouldn't recommend unless you are a RE fan.

I haven't stopped playing the ME3 multiplayer. Sorry CoD and Battlefield, adding the superhuman biotic abilities to combat just makes it more interesting.
I just bought/finished Borderlands 1, and considering the amount of time I put into that game in a 2 week period, I'll wait on Borderlands 2.

Circuit Attorney's Office wrote: Citizens Rush to Officers Aid After Suspect Tries to Gun Him Down
It was May 27, 2010 and a St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department (OFFICIAL) officer was on patrol in the Fairground Neighborhood. Around 8:30am, he spotted a white Chevy Lumina with license plates that didn’t match the registration. The officer decided to pull over the vehicle.
There were four people in the car as the officer approached the driver’s side. Arvon Brown, a passenger in the back seat, was acting increasingly suspicious. After he gave the officer a fake name and two different social security numbers, the officer asked Brown to step out of the vehicle.
When the car door opened, chaos erupted. Brown began shooting at the officer from point-blank range. The officer was hit several times, but he returned fire at Brown as the officer tried to take cover behind his police car. As the officer lay bleeding in the parking lot, Brown got out of the car and kept firing at him. Brown had fired 15 rounds before he and his friends fled the scene.
When the gunfire stopped, several good Samaritans rushed to the officer’s aid. He had been hit in the arm, leg, and lower back. A few minutes later, the driver of the white Lumina returned. A bystander put him in handcuffs. The information he gave police led them to Arvon Brown. He was hiding in a relative’s apartment on Delmar.
When the SWAT team arrived to arrest Brown, he tried to evade the officers but they found him on the roof of the apartment. The officer survived, but his injuries were so debilitating that he was forced to retire from the police department.
Thanks to good police work and the outstanding bravery of citizens who witnessed the event and rushed to the officer’s aid, Arvon Brown pled guilty of 1st Degree Assault on a Law Enforcement Officer, Armed Criminal Action, Firing a Weapon from a Motor Vehicle and Resisting Arrest.
When in court, Brown blamed his actions on feeling like he was in the video game “Grand Theft Auto”.
Today Brown was sentenced to life in prison. We asked for a life sentence plus 20 year

Essentially, yes. Not a bad device.MrSaigon wrote:What are the gamers here's thoughts on Ouya? Interesting story. Will it make my tv an Android monitor?
I played The Walking Dead over the last week. Through Episode 2 almost done w/ 3. More of a story than a game, but it's awesome. I jumped, got a little teary eyed, it's entertaining.

It's interesting, but I don't know if it's a buy for me.MrSaigon wrote:What are the gamers here's thoughts on Ouya? Interesting story. Will it make my tv an Android monitor?
So I got back into Minecraft for the 360. I can't believe how much entertainment that game has given me. It has to be my second most played game next to Forza.
