Netflix might produce a Terriers 2 hour movie. That would be excellent. I loved that show.

Revolution could be good. The pilot wasn't mind-blowing or anything (like Abram's Lost pilot--I can't think of a better one), but I think there's some promise.

Eh, I thought the acting was really bad. Even Gus Fring wasn't very interesting. I agreed with this part of Alan Sepinwall's review:
— far too much time is spent on the boring (Charlie) or annoying (Danny) teenagers, once again trying to force youth appeal into a show without bothering to generate characters that viewers of any age will actually care about watching. (See also "Terra Nova," "Smash," "V," "The Walking Dead," or even back to Kim Bauer on "24.")
Though that boring girl is incredibly attractive.

My hope is that everything was spread thin for the pilot, which would make sense in a way, and then tighten up. We'll see. I'll give it a handful of episodes. I don't have many shows these days.

Hell I watched the full first season of Falling Skies, which is pretty awful and a similar premise. Which segues nicely into my humble brag about my will power in not watching a second of the second season.

I just started Fringe. I think I like it. Not sure.

Watched all 5 seasons of Friday Night Lights in the last 2 weeks or so. That was awesome. Landry is everywhere. Breaking Bad, The Master...

I'm waiting for Fringe to show up on Netflix. I've been interested in it for a while, and even though it's supposed to be a show you can just tune in to, I wanted to start from the star. How are you watching?

The reviews of "Revolution" have all been terrible, FWIW. Although it was fun to see Wrigley Field in ruins in that commercial.

FWIW-
It's at like 65% on Metacritic, which is one of the higher rated new shows.

It looks exactly like the kind of show that I think might be a decent DRV show to have as a time-waster but ends up being absolutely unwatchable. Like Terra Nova last year.

I keep going back to these network shows thinking this will be the one where they finally learn something from all the great cable shows out there and I keep being extremely disappointed. I begrudingly DVR'ed the pilot of Revolution. We'll see.
