I know some of you helped during the last Monsanto contest in voting for Tenth Life. If you recall, they came in 4th place, just a place away from a money award. The org is even bigger now so I have high hopes this time around. They also recent acquired a shelter building so this money will go a long way!

My neighbor dropped off a 2.5 week old kitten yesterday because she knew I was affiliated with Tenth Life. I really don't have much experience with neonatal babies at all (bottle feeding, "stimulating" their regions with a cotton swab to get them to go to the bathroom). Anyway, I had to take a crash course on neonatal kittens (they can't have cow's milk!) and I had to feed it every three hours, including waking up during the night like a regular newborn. They have no means of regulating their body temperature so you have to keep them really warm at all times; basically it's so touch and go at an early age and they can take a downturn very quickly and die.

He's going to Snuggle tomorrow, an org specializing in neonatal care and seems to be thriving so I'm thrilled!

This is Little Duke:

I got ringworm from this little guy.

Just saw this so I've missed a couple of days, but I've got a reminder on my calendar now. Best of luck!

O.k., I voted and validated my e-mail address. That should put you over the top right there.

Yay for sigh and Radbird! Didn't you say you didn't want to validate your email address with Monsanto last time? This is a real step forward in our relationship.
