This is really cool. AMC is streaming the Breaking Bad premiere on their website for Dish Network customers:

Speaking of bad HBO shows, I tried watching The Newsroom and even I think it's ridiculous liberal wankery.

I am quite liberal and I never could bring myself to watch "The West Wing" on exactly those grounds. This show sounds even worse.

I generally agree with people who call themseleves liberal but Obama is the only dem I have ever voted for (wrote in McCain!)...SO I guess I don't know what liberal really is.

I've watched the first two episodes of The Newsroom and agree that it's probably going to be nothing more than a platform to push liberal ideas (as well as an overly sentimental view of the past) but I haven't tuned out yet. There may be a few laughs here and there, as there was in the second episode.

"Dexter" passed a point of no return into terminal stupidity last season, I think.

But Yvonne Strahovski from "Chuck" is gonna be the guest star for this upcoming season, which is awesome.

I never watched The West Wing, but there is no way it was as shameless in its ideology. The conservative [expletive] would have far surpassed what TWW produced. The show stars a Thinking Conservative who is portrayed as appalled at what the Tea Party has turned the GOP into, and yet Sorkin can't help but make him disgusted by every element of the conservative movement.

Was it everything we hoped it would be and more? I'm still in Cincy and haven't seen it yet.
