Can't agree. The spirit of the ADA is pretty clear.

One week until Breaking Bad.

Until then, I am going to be doing my best to keep Huell happy.

Dish dropped AMC (sucks losing it, but I support their decision).
Anyway, I chatted w/ Dish online, both supporting their decision, but mentioned, I'll miss watching Breaking Bad next week. They credited my account $3 per episode of Breaking Bad last season x 12, so I can watch the episodes online at Amazon.
Pretty cool of them. I know it doesn't help once The Walking Dead or Mad Men start up again. But I'll take it.

If I was paying for HBO because of trueblood, I'd probably cancel my subscription right now. AFter 5 episodes, they've done about 1 shows worth of material and the rest has been fluff stupid filler boring ass insanely unbelievable [expletive].

Some pretty bad acting, even by True Blood standards. I guess they were trying to go for something creepy with the Boy Vampire on the council but that kid was terrible.

It's always been horrible acting. Sookie is the worst.

But, the sex, blood, character interaction have kept it bearable and easy to get addicted to. At this point, though, they're just half-assed 50 minute barely connected stories. For instance, episode 5.

I mean, no [expletive] [expletive], they're looking for Russel Edgington. Of course they're going to find him and of course bill and eric aren't going to die. The attempt to use that as drama is pathetic. There's no character development going on and no relationships are being developed or built. It's a foregone and not dramatic conclusion that at some point alceed and sookie are going to hook up but not work out forever. blah blah blah. Oh yeah, Taras vampire and doing nothing spectacular in the background. blah blah blah. Sam's friends are getting killed by (of all things) some drunk hooligans. blah blah blah.

This season has been better than last, that's for sure.

But honestly I don't watch it anymore for any if the reasons you're ranting about. I watch it because it's mindless Sunday night entertainment. I don't love it and I don't hate it.

I will say this, Tara needs to absolutely go. I cringe everytime she enters a scene. Absolutely cannot stand her character.

If True Blood was on a channel that couldn't show nudity, it wouldn't have made it five episodes before it was canceled. Just wait and see how it fares in syndication. It won't even reach the lofty heights of Entourage, currently airing around 5AM.
