so it was Jamie
Remind me who that person is.
[SHOW]
Jamie was richmonds campaign guy. but later on in the episode, it was revealed that terry was actually responsible for Rosie's death. Can anyone explain why she did it? I was only half paying attention to the episode since I had some work to do last night. Also, night was only the season finale....where do the plan on going with this storyline? Holder did mention another murder at the very end so maybe they move into that?
[SHOW]
She and Ames were going to Las Vegas. He was leaving his wife for her. She heard Ames and Jamie arguing, and took care of it, but she didn't know it was Rosie in the trunk.

As far as next season goes, they set it up in a way where this could be a series finale, a show continuing with Holder and a new partner, or both Linden and Holder. I don't know where it goes next.
[SHOW]
Wasn't Terry the aunt? So she accidentally killed Rosie? Screw that.
Yes and No
[SHOW]
She killed her, not knowing who was in thr trunk.
So, Jamie, Terry, and Ames all played a part. Surprisingly the chief didn't really.
Next season, if there is one (I haven't heard, has anyone?) will likely be w/ Holder, and that's it, maybe Richmond.

I have a hard time saying Ames played a part. He tried to talk Jamie out of it, and even threatened to call off the entire deal. Of course what he did was immoral because he knew there was a girl in the trunk, but he played no active role in it. To me, that's more obstruction of justice.

Just how long do you folks feel you have to wait after a show airs before you can stop using the spoiler tags?

Especially when you're the only four people on the planet who watch The Killing.

I read recaps of the killing and it sounds like it got exponentially dumber and more haphazardly plotted with each episode.

I nominate Vidor's custom rank to be SPOILER: SHOW.

I do find this habit of using spoilers for things that have already come out to be quite odd. Being the middle-aged cranky person that I am, I remember when a "spoiler" was commonly understood to be information leaked in advance about plot details of movies or TV shows. And that makes sense enough; you don't want someone who has downloaded a pirated copy of the DVD screener for "The Dark Knight Rises" to tell you what happens in the movie before you go see it, right? Now it seems to be increasingly the case, certainly not just here but over wide swaths of the internet, to consider any information about plot points regarding any fictional work to be "spoilers". At TV Tropes someone seems to think that the ending to "Citizen Kane" still needs to be kept a secret 71 years after it was released.

Weird.

Meanwhile, Bristol Palin, who is somehow famous for getting knocked up and having a politician mom, has her own reality show. I think everything about it should be spoiled in advance, for the common good.

How about a conversation where you say "i don't want to spoil it for you." That's pretty common and has been before the internet got here, and regarding 100 year old books. I wouldn't tell someone how "Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" ends. It's just courteous. Citizen Kane is taking it a little far, but a TV show that's less than a couple weeks old in an age where people don't often watch shows right away - it makes sense. Also, this is a general TV thread, where people may want to discuss one show and not another. It'd be different if this were The Killing thread.
