Yeah, yeah...One of these days you'll join the club. For a small fee, it keeps the TFG riff-raff out and doesn't go down as easily as wart's wife.

I would argue the opposite. Seems like every Call of Duty playing, racist/xeno-homo phobic 14 year old with a microphone and Mom's credit card number for the newest DLC lives on XBox. On PSN, I just get Asian kids that are way better than I am.

My maturity level stalled at 13, thank you. Maybe it's what game is being played, but I've only dropped out of a session once from being annoyed by some kid.

I stopped enjoying online FPS when I got a full time job and no longer had the time to be as good as all the teenager kids kicking my butt.

I'm thinking of getting an Xbox so I can remind you daily that I [expletive] your mom.Tambourine Man wrote:Yeah, yeah...One of these days you'll join the club. For a small fee, it keeps the TFG riff-raff out and doesn't go down as easily as wart's wife.

Get one. BTW, missed you at Mardi Gras...I was riding the "TFG Momma" float and everyone hopped on.TimeForGuinness wrote:I'm thinking of getting an Xbox so I can remind you daily that I [expletive] your mom.Tambourine Man wrote:Yeah, yeah...One of these days you'll join the club. Been playing some Empire Total War again. The American Revolution mod is extraordinary. Coupled with The Patriot (2000) music pack, its got the perfect feel. Unfortunately the AI is still pretty poor and doesn't know how to deal with overwhelming artillery, but hey, what can ya do.

Re: The Video Game Thread
I'm enjoying the Diablo 3 open stress test.
By which I mean I spent a few hours last night working at various 3rd party fixes to the massive amount of download/install bugs running rampant. Finally got it running today, only to have the servers down. Now they're supposedly up, but inaccessible.
Good times! If I get to the character creation screen I believe I'll consider the weekend a success.
/edit : Got in, it's working albeit with common disconnects, to be expected. Game is very fun, at least the first 90 minutes or so it gives you for the beta. Mmm crafting yum.

[expletive] PC compatibility issues...i was trying to install diablo 2 on the windows 7 laptop, just for S's and G's and whatnot and i doubt my laptop can handle D3 but at least i can re-live some college experiences (sad i know) well it installs all fine but then it won't play 'cause of compatibility issues...
