I was thinking more like the Patriots are going to win another super bowl. They are on fire right now.
Bad defenses don't win the Super Bowl.
Who needs defense when you can score 40 a game? Their defense looks pretty decent today. In the playoffs even a bad defense can string together a few games if they get their confidence rolling.

I didn't forget about the Packers. I think them and the Pats will end up in the Super Bowl and it's pretty much a tossup.

I can't decide if I want to bathe in the blood of tim tebow or the patriots.

And yes, I've had a few cocktails.

The packers' offense is head and shoulders better than the patriots'. Defensively, they're about even, but the packers get a ton more turnovers. I don't think it would be a blowout, and I'm not saying they can't outplay us any given sunday, but i think it's pretty far from a "toss up" .

Even more so than the baseball GDTs, Football is made for men to be emotional and irrational. It's supposed to be irrational and unhealthy; that's what makes it fun.

I [expletive] hate the Patriots. And Tom Brady. And Bill Belichick.

I think cardsfansince82 is right - the Pats and Packers are pretty similar teams. That would be quite a game.

The Broncos weren't quite good enough this year, but I'm pretty happy with the progress that they've made. They have the 2nd youngest offensive line, incredibly young and talented receivers (Decker being out sucked), and a slowly improving defense. Call me crazy, but I do believe now that Tebow can do the job. Give him a full off-season to learn how to operate in an NFL offense, and I think he has a chance to improve quite a bit. He's shown signs that he can throw the ball downfield........ he just needs to read defenses better, and make better decisions. Those are things that I believe he can learn.

Cautiously optimistic going into 2012.

Why not both? If you're killing off the whole Patriots team, what's one more?

The Patriots gained more yardage than the Packers and only put up a couple points less per game. They give up less points per game than the Packers. It's a close matchup. It's also hypothetical. Both teams still have pretty tough paths to the game but the Patriots are a step closer than the Pack right now.
