watched 1st season of portlandia on netflix. very funny. i gave it 4/5. i liked a lot of it, though there were some things that seemed to go on too long or not be all that relevant with me (as a boring kansan)

Just finished season 4 of Breaking Bad.
WOW!
Crawl Space was my favorite episode, of course. After that I thought it tied up a little too nicely. But, very excited to see what the final season holds.

Yeah, caught on to it after the wife started watching. For some reason the fact that it's a soap opera and yet another British drawing room drama doesn't put me off. I think it's the equal time given to the house staff that makes it work. Maybe it's the fact that it's not filmed on tape with god-awful lighting like the old BBC stuff. And at least it's post-Victorian for a change. But O'Brien and Thomas are ridiculous.bobby bo wrote:Downtown Abbey, ya feel?

Just watched Gervais' Golden Globes monologue. Kind of sucked.
Speaking of SOPA, has anyone watched 'Life's too Short' yet?
