Saw this on io9 - a Portal Christmas tree:

That's great.

A few months ago I purchased Super Meat Boy for 5 bucks on XBLA and I just got around to playing it. Man it's a great game. It's challenging without ever feeling cheap and the controls feel great. I love platforming games so Super Meat Boy is right in my wheelhouse.

Super Meat Boy

A fine candidate for a user name.

My ex just gave me a game her dad won on some internet sweepstakes, Captain America.

hah. seems like recent superhero movie video games have been terrible. but you can increase that gamerscore!

I have finally started Skyrim. I'll be back in a few months.

Just bought Final Fantasy Tactics for the iPhone. Square Enix apparently ported over the original game to PSP back in 2007, added some cell shading and additional classes, and changed the name to "Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lion." Still same awesome game though. Earlier this summer they released it for the iPhone as well.

I didn't realize it, but Square Enix has also released FF1, 2, and 3 (and Chrono Trigger) for iOS as well. They've also got completely updated graphics as well - I can easily see myself losing the next few months to dorking out on my phone.

Yeah, I've been playing Skyrim for awhile...and am only a third of the way through. Haven't been this addicted since Fallout 3.

I finally Platinum'd Skyrim the other day. I had to re-roll a new character in order to do so, but it was well worth it. Really enjoyed and played the hell out of that game.

Recently picked up and started "Catherine" for the PS3...oh my Lord. This game is so miserably difficult and punishing. And the story and imagery are pretty [expletive] up in the meanwhile. I like the psychology aspects of it, but the gameplay so otherwise makes you want to throw the controller across the room time and time again. Oi.

since i got a new laptop i put steam on (jocephus83) and have been playing killing floor, portal, half life 2...good stuff...i can see why PC is a preferred way of playing...though i must admit i do like the simplicity of my xbox. figure xbox will still be my number 1, but theres no reason to not have some PC games. im really diggin half life 2 to be honest. valve is awesome. gonna install team fortress 2 soon and the other half life 2 stories
