beat Portal 2 (after waiting months for steam to reduce it to 10 bucks. Excellent.)

Thoroughly entertaining game. Very few levels I didn't care for. I had to break my no-cheating credo on 2 rooms. Both were forehead-slapping "D'oh!" Moments. I was very haughtily proud of how fast I solved some of the most complex rooms, and embarrassed and stubborn and stupid on many others. Humor was awesome. I didn't catch nearly as many secret areas as I did with the first game. Also, who the hell pays for the stupid ass hats and etc for the coop stuff? Microtransactions will never get a dime of my money.

Only disappointment was that the finale song was only Very Catchy as opposed to Absurdly Catchy like the originals'.

I, too, despise the flood and hold Reach and ODST in higher regard than the other games as a result. It is telling that the last two releases have been floodless, so I hope we can look forward to no flood/flood like enemies in Halo 4.
After completing the campaign I agree it's held up pretty well. When I made my earlier comments I was only in the beginning which was only purely corridor shooting. I started playing Batman: AC last night, but I have an itch to download Halo 2 from XBOX Live.

2 on Legendary is incredibly difficult and worth it.

This game is coming to the US next year. It seems a little kiddy, but that has to be the prettiest game ever made and I don't know if I can resist it.

Ye gods, I'm open-minded on the new Xbox update in general, but the Netflix update is atrocious.

i was in the beta for the new xbox and didn't like it from the get go. i still dont like it over time...they just keep forcing ads and more ads into the menus, its disgusting.

and then netflix! tv shows just start where you left off, you dont get the option of picking an episode and they got rid of watching with a party which i did a lot (and was a "special feature" when they launch that ability a year ago)

that said, i renewed my XBL subscription this morning hah

You can pick an episode. Should be a ticker kind of thing on the bottom of the screen you can scroll through.

Star Wars: The Old Republic

This MMORPG just got released and I bought a copy. I know a few people who are playing it, but I've looked at the setup process and I'm not sure what choices to make. Is there anyone here who is going to be playing this game?
