Carp is the first pitcher ever to win two winner-take-all games in a single postseason.

Freese had an insane and magical playoffs, but we just wouldn't be here without Carp.

I think it's really hard to comprehend just how much this team turned it around. I mean we all watched it but 2 months ago seems like such a long time ago at this point. I think out record puts it in perspective from August 24 when we were 69-64 to finish at 101-79.

I am happy for McGwire. He could have just faded away since the embarrasing congessional hearing, but chose to come back, admit use, and go through the firestorm. Must feel great to all be worth it.

I was thinking about how he doesn't have to do what he does, but he does it becasue he loves the game. Just
standing there, taking it all in.
