Yeah, same here. I had this discussion with the SO last night. I get it in like.. New York or DC. Maybe in September. Or around the 4th of July. But not in a Pirates/Astros game in May.jim wrote:I still don't like it ... and I don't mean to be disprespectful at all because I actually am a pretty patriotic guy. I just think we pay proper tribute before the game, and then lets play the game. I just don't like the stoppage. But whatever.

A DBT show would be the best possible WS after party. Awesome.lukethedrifter wrote:drivebytruckers Drive-By Truckers

To accommodate Card fans (& Ranger fans if there are any in #STL), we will be holding tonight's DBT set until the game is completed.

That's my kind of band. Then they are going to rock the [expletive] house. Wish I were there instead of at work.

jim wrote:Obviously an absolutely huge out right there. I've said it before about Dotel ..I love this guy. He's just a down and dirty ballplayer, he'd throw 5 innings a night if you let him.
We can put this series away with a couple of runs here, and we have the right guys to do it.
