Serious question...can we go into 2012 with Jay as our everyday CF'er? I'm not so sure. Probably will have to though if we resign Albert.

Like Jay hitting a walk-off grand slam to win it?07come11 wrote:st.lewis11 wrote:++themiddle54 wrote:Top of the order coming up. Potentially 2 more PA from Pujols and Berkman, down 3. This is not over. It's ugly, but it's not over.

C'mon now... no hill for a climber. Let's get some damn runs. The guys that want to play are in the lineup. I like our lineup right now ... Theriot, Berkman, Pujols, Yadi .. let's roll with these guys. I wish Skippy was still in there. That son of a [expletive] will go down swinging too. But we've got the guys in there that can get this thing done. They are gamers. They ain't quitting and I ain't quitting. It's not over, let's go get 'em.

FanGraphs says 10% chance. FG can't see how exhausted the Cardinals are though.

I wish I had faith like you all do that we are all of a sudden going to hit and stop making errors.

Albert can't go out like a [expletive], can he?

I think our offense has scored at least 3 runs in 3 innings before.

yeah, but Holliday's [expletive] ( which has had a far far greater impact on the game/series) doesn't seem to bother him much.RxOfCowbell wrote:tony was NOT happy about that throw.
After that Holliday [expletive] up tonight, we can now probably agree that Kinsler's popup in game 2 was the basically the same thing -lazy scared Holliday content to let Furcal make a miracle attempt.
