i think in my evolution as a gamer im moving away from FPS's too...on newer consoles i really only played CoD (and really just blops and mw2) but the community and eventual repetitiveness, i just dont find them as fun i did.

i really like dead island...and im really enjoying playing RE: code veronica again. getting the batman game next week too

ehhh...i think there would be some aspects of gow3 that i would like but i'd eventually tire of it. i ended up selling gow2 'cause i never played it anymore.

i've seen a lot of gameplay of gow3 (twitch.tv again) and it looks great for sure and i enjoy watching people play it. i just dont think i'd play it that much after awhile.

If I think I can get 5 hours of solid fun out of a game I'll buy it. I have incredibly low standards.

The return of Joce Ventura would be epic. The chainsaw is even more satisfying now...And the executions are hilarious.

I'm with Michael, I don't own a game I didn't enjoy for at least 5 hours. I'm pretty easy to entertain, I can like poorly written/directed movies, and I can enjoy shallow games. Do I prefer Uncharted 2 to ... damn, I can't think of an example of a crappy game I didn't like. I am easy to please.

Fortunately I'm not hugely in to multiplayer so I wait until games go on sale a few months later.

haha...if it goes down in price i'll probably get it. for whatever reason, i dont like having a big game collection. i think 'cause i have a crapton of movies i bought and then never watch them so i dont want the same with my games.

its an expensive hobby
