Also, re: the ending...
[SHOW]
The final shot was great and all that but sort of unnecessary. Walt crapping his pants with anxiety after Jesse left was all the cue needed, right?

The emotional swing from the shot of Gus walking out, then the looks of horror on the nurses and then that was flawless directing.
Ha... and the slow pan around the room to the reveal. BOOM

Vince Gilligan's next project could be a reboot of Kate and Allie and I'm pretty sure I'd watch it at this point.

I'm dealing with some post-finale depression. That was so satisfying but itll be a year until we get new episodes.

I love Walking Dead, the new train show looks cool, but a whole year? When does Mad Men start?

Did anyone else hear some deep breathing in the parking garage? I'm guessing that was Mike spying (and who may have tipped off Gus in the first place), but that's just a guess.

Giancarlo Esposito dropped a potential spoiler for season five. Normally I'd just brush it off but apparently Gilligan told him how this season would go back when he was filming season 3. That spoiler and discussion below.
[SHOW]
He says that Jesse and Mike may be working together against Walt next season. Now originally I figured at the end that this will eventually come between Walt and Jesse, but that it would come late and possibly be Walt's eventual downfall. However, even the first time I saw the scene between Walt and Jesse at the end, Jesse reminded me a lot of when he was talking to Gus last episode and trying to be coy. Then I think back to Gus's men coming out of Walt's back yard where the plant is, and it occurs to me that they are probably reporting to Mike, not to Gus. So Mike figures out what Walt did and contacts Jesse, who goes to probe Walt for information by dropping the lily of the valley info on him. If this is really the case and Jesse knows or suspects Walt poisoned the kid (Still a stupid plot twist if you ask me), I'm impressed at the restraint shown in not having that as the cliffhanger ending.

I guess what I'm saying is that I have no real evidence to believe Walt poisoned the kid other than how I interpret what the creator has said about his show's main character and how much they focused on Walt making a point of saying Gus is always two steps ahead of him to Jesse. I think Walt is finally willing to do whatever it takes to get out from under the constant threat of Gus.
Damn, this guy had it all figured out, bros.

I was willing to believe Walt was capable of hurting an innocent child (and pray they figured it out before he died) to save his kids/wife. Though the way it was executed takes a little 'suspicion of disbelief' for me. Huell blind picking the one ricin cigarette and Jesse putting everything together was a huuuuuge risk. I can't come up with a better way they could have done it, and I believe Walt would be willing to try anything even if it had a 1 in a million chance of working.

Great show. Great season. Wonderful ending.
