Cranston and Paul dressed up again.

The Bryan Cranston interview on WTF is very good for anyone interested, but you might not want to listen before watching Sunday. Cranston drops a couple hints about the finale - doesn't give a thing away, but still probably more than I wanted to hear.

Looks freaky. I could use a new completely whacked out freaky show.
I missed it. Was it good?
It was pretty good. The potential is strong. A very good cast.
Certainly some freaky moments. Pretty stylized, in a good way I think.
I like the guy that plays the burn victim(Russell Edginton from True Blood), but I think his character is the weakest. For a while I thought it would be kind of like Nip/Tuck but the psychiatric version, w/ a new patient every week. But I think the only patient we'll see is the demented kid. Which may work, cause he's got issues!

Okay, Gus going to handle Tio right after he visits the DEA is ridiculous, but I'm going to forgive them because it was a satisfying end to his character and they didn't feel the need to set up a ridiculous cliffhanger regarding Walt's next adversary (Which is clearly Hank).

That's twice today I wish I hadn't cut cable. And then in about 1-3 weeks I won't care anymore.

How long does it take an HD recording to upload? I'll be refreshing my browser for the next hour or so.

Vince Gilligan has always said that this show is about how far a seemingly good man can go when he has nothing to lose and then how much further he'll go when he has everything to lose. For those of you who don't think it's in Walt to poison the kid, he's done this before. Jane dead, yo. Also, a few of you have pointed out how in the past, we've never not seen a main character when they're getting up to some monkey business. I think this makes it more likely that he did it. The show wants us speculating, debating etc. They also have a track record of leaving the big reveals for as late into the season as possible. I think we'll find out this Sunday in the season finale that he did it, that when he looked for the money in the crawl space and realized his plan B wasn't there, he snapped. The descent of a good man into evil, which is the entire premise of this show, has finally happened. The last season will be Walt v Jesse and Walt and Skylar hiding his true identity from Hank. Gus Fring gonna get got. Who knows if Gus not getting in the car was anything more than him just wanting to go back and say something to Jesse before he gets in?

I guess what I'm saying is that I have no real evidence to believe Walt poisoned the kid other than how I interpret what the creator has said about his show's main character and how much they focused on Walt making a point of saying Gus is always two steps ahead of him to Jesse. I think Walt is finally willing to do whatever it takes to get out from under the constant threat of Gus and is going to use all of his considerable intellect to go head-to-head with Gus.
Damn, this guy had it all figured out, bros.

The emotional swing from the shot of Gus walking out, then the looks of horror on the nurses and then that was flawless directing.
