It wasn't me. Dude isn't fat at all. I bet he can barely eat 3 pounds of bacon at one sitting.
But I'm glad they caught this guy before he tried to cook all of my bacon. On the other hand, maybe he really needed some bacon.... I almost feel for the guy.

I think trying to take bacon away from Fat_bulldog may be the most dangerous thing in the world to attempt.Fat_Bulldog wrote:It wasn't me. Dude isn't fat at all. I bet he can barely eat 3 pounds of bacon at one sitting.

Didn't Jim Croce write a song like that?
"You don't tug on Superman's cape
You don't spit into the wind,
You dont take bacon from old Fat_bulldog,
and you don't mess around with Jim."

It's a good way to look like you've been in a sawmill accident.wart57 wrote:I think trying to take bacon away from Fat_bulldog may be the most dangerous thing in the world to attempt.Fat_Bulldog wrote:It wasn't me. Dude isn't fat at all. I bet he can barely eat 3 pounds of bacon at one sitting.

Wow. I can't believe they're being tried for manslaughter, that seems like a reach.greenback44 wrote:http://news.yahoo.com/trial-opens-again ... 32052.html
ROME (AP) — Seven scientists and other experts went on trial on manslaughter charges Tuesday for allegedly failing to sufficiently warn residents before a devastating 2009 earthquake that killed more than 300 people in central Italy.
The case is being closely watched by seismologists around the globe who insist it's impossible to predict earthquakes and dangerous to suggest otherwise, since seismologists will be discouraged from issuing any advice at all if they fear legal retaliation.
However, while I can't speak for scientists/researchers, engineers have a code of ethics to follow and the statement
would be in violation of this codeIn one now-infamous interview included in the prosecutors' case, Bernardo De Bernardinis, then-vice chief of the technical department of Italy's civil protection agency, responded to a question about whether residents should just sit back and relax with a glass of wine.
"Absolutely, absolutely a Montepulciano doc," he responded, referring to a high-end red. "This seems important."

becasue he gave an opinion that was not technical nor founded upon knowledge of the facts. And if it can be proven this report was an attempt to quell public fears to help tourism/consumer interests, there could be a fairly decent suit filed.Engineers shall issue public statements only in an objective and truthful manner.
Engineers shall be objective and truthful in professional reports, statements, or testimony. They shall include all relevant and pertinent information in such reports, statements, or testimony, which should bear the date indicating when it was current.
Engineers may express publicly technical opinions that are founded upon knowledge of the facts and competence in the subject matter.
Engineers shall issue no statements, criticisms, or arguments on technical matters that are inspired or paid for by interested parties, unless they have prefaced their comments by explicitly identifying the interested parties on whose behalf they are speaking, and by revealing the existence of any interest the engineers may have in the matters.
All that said, manslaughter is ridiculous.

HAHA!
"Four teams. Seven titles. Ten years. Do the math.
What math? There’s no math to be done here. It’s just counting. Am I supposed to add those numbers together to get some kind of proprietary CBR rating? Congrats, Boston! You have 21! BLACKJACK. NOW GO [expletive] DIE."

It was probably your choice of user name. "IH8ALLOTHERRACEZ" is kind of belligerent.
