I love that they brought back Coach for his shot at Redemption, don't care so much about Ozzy. Coach has always been one of my favorite characters just because of how bat-guano crazy he is, and I'm rooting for him all the way.

Also, that geeky kid Cochran has to be the most self-conscious, low self-esteem person Survivor's ever had. He may be a super-fan of the show, but he's not going to last unless he learns to buck up a bit. Seriously, I think they picked this guy just because they figured the rest of the cast would eat him alive. I'm kind of shocked he didn't go first last night.
I'm a fan (although I like the Amazing Race better). I'm glad Cochran didn't go first, he's hilarious. He has to be so smart to get into Harvard Law School (he's probably smarter than all the rest of them combined), but your right in your assessment of him. He totally reminded me of Woody Allen at tribal counsel. I hope he lasts for awhile just because he is so funny.

Cochran's merit will come puzzle time. If he's only a "smart" player, it won't be enough. But if he can roll through them like Mariano did (or Steven from Tocantins, although less people remember him), or by some fortune go up against an awful player, he'll be kept around until at least the merge.

I watched it again and the vomiting blood bit killed me. Between that and Pretty Woman over the ending credits, it single-handedly beat the entire first half of last season.

I really enjoyed it.

Already loving the Mac stuff this season. And DeVito's hair is officially out of control awesome.

Expletive A right. How can you be Meh about that episode?

I disliked almost all of last season. But, holy crap, last night's episode immediately shot up into the top 10 ever for me. And I'm a huge Sunny fan (through the first 3 seasons, 4 was alright, 5 was bad).

Frank's incredible hair, I am jealous that clever pointed it out first. It's like a Shakespearean sonnet, only it's hair on a sub-five-foot-tall creeper.

The vomit scene literally made me fall off the couch. Incredible. Dee is now comfortable with being a foot whore. Dennis was amazing. And, wait, what? My most-eagerly anticipated moment all summer : Fat Mac was absolutely stunning.

Saigon, sir, I am throwing down the gauntlet. How did you possibly not love that episode, sir.

Mac shooting about 100 units of insulin (I take 6-8 per meal) while eating a garbage bag of chimichangas was funny. Maybe I'm just getting old. The stuff wasn't unfunny, I just found it mildly amusing. Even Charlie's fits of consumption didn't do an awful lot for me, in fact I found Franks egg story funnier. I found myself saying 'that's funny,' not laughing. Great episodes of Sunny make me laugh hysterically--and I rewatched quite a few older ones this summer.

Agree to disagree! I count the best episodes of Always Sunny as the funniest television I've ever seen (Gas Crisis being pretty much my favorite episode of any show, ever). I was very nonplussed by almost every episode last season. I thought this one was an absolutely triumphant return.

I was also under the influence of a large amount of alcohol and THC.

So many amazing moments, man! That speech Frank gives about eggs and crabs and denim was stunning. Jesus. I'm kind of getting mad at you now, Saigon, as I type. I'm going to re-watch it. I put it at top 10 of the series, about #7 or so.
