I mentioned this in another thread -the survivor knockout pools where you pick the winner of one game per week.

..Could someone explain the mystery -Why in the hell with all teams/games still available, were the Browns the chosen team as winner by 40% of the entrants. Even in St. Louis where we are familiar with Shurmur and should know better.

Trying to slip one in, I imagine. Can only use a team once, right?

yeah -you can only use a team once, and that was the logic of a co-worker in the 40 person pool. He's also in 700 person national pool and he said 40% went Browns there too. But still - that many people counting on the Browns? Since I don't watch ESPN much, I figured Trey Wingo may be behind it somehow.

Cleveland is -2.5 AT Indy. I watched that game, if it was for Collins' two untimely fumbles that game is a lot closer than it looks. Collins, aside from the fumbles, looked decent. I dunno, I'd almost take Indy straight up on that.

Not really about American football, but woke up this morning to put money on some nfl games and realized I made a $20 3 game soccer parlay last night while drunk.
Chelsea -1 1/2, Fulham, and over 2 1//2 goals in the Arsenal v Tottenham game.
So nice little surprise win for my account.

A friend of mine had lost to me twice on NFL games. I was drunk and feeling charitable and took Miami +7 @ SD.
