Just finished Season 4 of Dexter. That was an outstanding season of television.

Well, remember season 3?
Yeah, that's season 5, w/ a chick instead of Jimmy Smits.

I hope the new season kicks as* though.

[expletive] YEAH.

Seeing the current season of True Blood, or even the last season of Dexter, has really made me appreciate Breaking Bad, Boardwalk Empire, and Game of Thrones.

Outside of Lithgow himself, I thought Season 5 was an improvement on Dexter. Actually the best since the first season. But then I couldn't stand Rita, so I was happy that was over. I thought the relationship with Julia Stiles' character felt more natural and believable, and it helped they weren't really a couple.

I'll buy the Stiles thing, I liked that. But all the crap with RoboCop and Quinn seemed like old hat. Rita never bothered me though. There was just nothing new and exciting in the season really.

Then Deb ready to catch a career maker. Talking about how it's her job no matter what and letting them go. [expletive] that.

Agreed.

That was the perfect opportunity for Deb to get in on the secret. It would have been a good story line going forward too.

Unless you're writers hadn't entirely thought out how they want him found out nor have a plan on how to end the series so they write each season in a vacuum, milking it till they find out if they'll have another.

Yeah, I've got a comment or two about that in here somewhere. I agree it was the perfect time.
