Ever thought about growing a diesel mustache and calling yourself Johnnycakes?

Not so much. But in fairness, I do know how to make Johnnycakes. They're good.

Took at least 6 months, but I finished Battlestar Gallactica last night.
It was good. Too many "We need a democratic vote" or "let's strike" episodes to be great though.
The 4 hour mini-series that began the series, was incredible. That had lots of tension and was well done. I liked the ending too.
[SHOW]
The beginging mini-series, I mean 99.9999% of humans dead, just like that- awesome storytelling.
The finale- I don't really get, or like, the Starbuck as a vanishing angel thing.
I did dig the Baltar-Caprica 6 angel thing though.

No kidding. Main thing I didn't like is how stuff like that just came out of nowhere. Like that one ethnic group that was suddenly shown to be living in one of the cargo holds in a little village. The extent to which there were still things like a press and a caste system after 99% of humanity had been killed never made a lot of sense to me. They really gave up on that whole Cylon "plan" notion too. I'm still bitter. It was so good for two seasons though. I think New Caprica finally killed it.

Have you watched the 4 mini episodes that span the two seasons?
I've only seen one. If you have link to all 4, let me know.

Don't judge me on how quickly I've been consuming Breaking Bad, but I'm working on season three now. I finally know where ghostrunner's pizza comes from.

One little rant about the badass Mexican twins:
[SHOW]
They were built to be the baddest asses ever, (frankly, I found their silent stalking a little too comic book-y) but then when they finally get into action to kill Hank, their plan seems to be pretty damn stupid (even without Hank's little bird), and then their actions in the fight are even more stupid. It makes you doubt the badness of their asses.

Yeah the lead pulls off walking the line between cocky and cool, awful lot of murders down there though. :)
