KU should have never left the Missouri Valley. Besides MVC football is about the right speed for KU.Faceman wrote:The plus side of this, as usual, is watching Kansas left out, holding themselves.

Re: Big12 Breaking Up?
aTm fans are really going all out to prove their place as little brother to Texas with all the SEC antics. There hasn't been a single bit of substance to this SEC talk, but they latch on to every bit of rumor because they're so worked up over the LHN.

Re: Big12 Breaking Up?
the A&M stuff looks legit. All the rumors about the second team are all over the place, though.
of course, if this is the big domino and the Big 12 dissolves because everyone else in the conference doesn't want to put up with Texas being blatantly pandered to, then it may be more who is the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th team to the SEC, which 4 will the Big 10 and Pac 12 get, and how will the ACC and Big East merge.

fwiw, they're not the most reliable when it comes to declarations of A&M leaving the Big 12:

http://texas.rivals.com/content.asp?CID=1250840Sources said Thursday the SEC would be interested in adding Oklahoma and Oklahoma State and Virginia Tech in addition to Texas A&M to form a 16-team super conference. Florida State has also been mentioned as a possible target of the SEC, according to Big 12 sources.
Two officials at separate Big 12 schools said Oklahoma and Oklahoma State would stay in the Big 12 as long as the other schools were willing to stay together. A third official in the Big 12 said the remaining nine schools were "solid."

"We'll stay as long as everyone else stays"
Yeah. That's not doomed.
The Big 12 is a goner - but of course we already knew that.
