Maybe he'll add more later, but it just seems a little weird that a 22 year old millionaire would make sure his tats are in an area where they're easily concealed. Why should he give a [expletive]?

He probably started out hiding them from family or his school in high school. He went to one of those Christian prep school/basketball factories so maybe they weren't allowed. And then eventually he either decided he liked them being hidden or he kept it going because he was starting to be marketed as a humble "nice guy" alternative to Lebron/Kobe/etc. Playing in a market like OKC, it helps his appeal locally and gives him some extra national popularity.

He doesn't have to be a fan of the team. It's an easily recognizable way to rep your city without spelling it out(plus the Nats W is pretty cool). It's not really the same as having an actual logo of a team. An "STL" tattoo isn't the same as a birds on the bat.

France: Kidnapping Was Part of Ritual

By STEVEN ERLANGER
Published: July 22, 2011

A teenage girl, whose kidnapping on Sunday from a park in Privas, in southeast France, riveted the country, was found unharmed on Friday, apparently taken by her fiancé’s family as part of a Chechen premarriage ritual, the police said. The girl, who was not named and who was thought to be 16 or 17, was found by the police in the southwestern Haute-Garonne region with the family of her fiancé, said a spokeswoman for the Privas police. The family said they were simply following an old North Caucasus tradition, like others in the Chechen diaspora. The kidnapping originates as a response by a man when a young woman’s family refuses a marriage. After the abduction and a night spent away from home, the young women is considered “soiled,” and the family would then consent to the union. Religious leaders among the Chechens, who are mostly Muslim, are trying to put an end to the tradition.

I can't decide where to post this so it goes here. The other day I was driving west on Watson when I saw a bicyclist up ahead in the distance- a dangerous enough activity based on commentary read in these pages, when something struck me. He was wearing a white cycling jersey with a big red .... wait... I think that's a ... a.... (I need glasses)... a big red C on his back. But wait, inside the big red C is something blue ... a goddam baby bear... no [expletive] way ... that dumb [expletive] Cubs fan is riding his bicycle on a street filled with red neck Cards fans wearing a Cubs jersey.
