Yeah, come on, this is the TV Thread, if it hasn't happened yet on TV, it needs to be SPOLIERED.JackofDiamonds wrote:Thanks for the unintentional spoiler.thrill wrote:Jaime is a douche, but he ends up being one of the best characters in the series. Even a little sympathetic.
SPOILER - so Jaime isn't killed by Robb and Cat after what just happened? Hrm.
Though, I don't entirely dislike Jaime, he's a douche because he's a Lannister and because he stood guard outside of Roberts door while he defiled his sister's honor by sleeping with a bevy of whores. He's had his moments, however, where I can respect him. Not killing Ned after his guard intervened? Class.
I understand half of you know what happens, but this is the TV thread for what happens on the show, not the book.

A) what happens in the book isn't necessarily going to happen in the show. B) What exactly is spoiled? Robb already said he's not going to kill him.robbotis wrote:Yeah, come on, this is the TV Thread, if it hasn't happened yet on TV, it needs to be SPOLIERED.JackofDiamonds wrote:Thanks for the unintentional spoiler.thrill wrote:Jaime is a douche, but he ends up being one of the best characters in the series. Re: TV Thread - beware, [expletive] can get spoilery
The Jaime mention wont spoil anything for you. As the plot lurches forward (books two abd three move very very fast), many 'bad guys' develop some likeability, many 'good guys' will make you very mad, and lots of people on all sides have bad things happen to them.
He meant it in a general sense, that Jaime is more than 'incestuous kingslayer prick'. Thrill did not deign to mention if he shows some sympathetic side for one more episode before he gets hacked to bits, or twenty, or if he finds a rainbow unicorn and flies over the Wall.
Don't worry. We ain't ruined nuthin for ya. Don't miss the finale on Sunday, the final 10 minutes will have you hooked.
Ps Jaime really does fly a rainbow unicorn over the Wall.

I get that I can be spoilered for things that have happened on TV (i.e. - I am not reading the killing comments because I gave up 3 episodes ago but may decide to watch the end eventually) but I don't want to know what happens in future books yet.TGantz wrote:We covered this. Exactly, me neither! I had no clue Jamie lives beyond Sunday's episode.JackofDiamonds wrote:I get that I can be spoilered for things that have happened on TV (i.e. - I am not reading the killing comments because I gave up 3 episodes ago but may decide to watch the end eventually) but I don't want to know what happens in future books yet.TGantz wrote:We covered this. Re: TV Thread - beware, [expletive] can get spoilery
Ok, my bad. I thought Robb saying he wasn't going to kill him was enough, but I can understand how my assumptions having read the book are wildly different than just the TV dudes. Sorry guys.
