Are people still watching The Killing? It's really dragging ass, belaboring obvious character traits that have been evident since the first or second episode, while the investigation has pretty much gone nowhere. And now we've got a terrorism angle? C'mon.

Yup. I still like it, but mostly because the guys playing Stan and Holder are both incredible.

Someone on IMDB floated the idea that perhaps Bennet is a hero, and that he's actually helping to work to bring sexual slaves/impoverished girls to the U.S. I think that's a hell of an idea, especially since everybody knows he didn't do it.

Maybe the girl stumbled upon a terrorist plot and bennet's friend had her killed.

Who knows? I'm still into it though.

I agree with this, but think it's one solid episode/plot development away from being really good again.

Yeah, I'm sticking with the show, but I think the last 3 or 4 episodes have wasted a lot of opportunities. Soon we need a bombshell tie-in with the mayoral race, other than just Bennet happening to volunteer for the basketball program. Also, at this stage what is the point of the fiance in California? Is there still any doubt that she's not going to get on that plane? But every episode keeps stringing that subplot along.

I've fallen in love with the Workaholics boss chick. I fought it for the first 4 or so episodes, but now I've given up.

Let her talk mean to me. I can take it.

I thought The Killing was superb tonight. Lots of key information revealed in this episode.
[SHOW]
Bennet isn't the killer. He and Muhammad were helping a young girl escape from her family for her health and safety. And Mitch Larsen gives me yet another reason to hate her. Only problem now is they've basically got three or four episodes to reveal a killer, unless they're going to hold that for a second season, which I hope they don't.
