Yeah, that makes more sense. Wasn't trying to pick at you. What I've seen of Indiana, they aren't very good, but matchups do matter.
I completely agree that the Bulls can look like they are not dominant at all, still win this series in 5 games, and then look totally different (better) against the 2nd round opponent.
I expected some close games. But I also expected a clean victory or two - ie, Bulls holding a 10+ point lead for most of the 2nd through 4th quarters. I'd very, very much like to see that tonight.
Other than Korver's awesome 3 point % and Deng's usual terrific wing defense, the non-Rose Bulls have looked pretty crappy in all four games.
Expect a big game from Noah tonight; his grandfather from Cameroon is in town to watch the game. The only other time the fellow saw Noah, Joakim went for 37/17 back in Florida, the best game of his college career. Or so spake the RealGM Bulls board, at least.

I'm quite happy. I got to sort-of watch the first half while I was working. Got off right when that idiot McRoberts threw a punch at Noah. Definitely wish I'd had more time to really pay attention to the gameplay; I was mostly watching it over conversation with my new coworkers (just started at a new place recently).
Basically, this was exactly what I wanted. Bulls get some confidence.
What happened to Boozer? I didn't ever see him on the court, and ESPN recaps and postgame threads aren't mentioning why he only played 16 minutes.
Also: Bogans! 5-of-7 from 3 ! hahaha! Go Bogans!
edit: Ah, "Right foot injury for Boozer. Turf toe."
I just saw something in the Sixers Heat game that honestly has my eyes watering with laughter. I'm probably wrong on the names, but this is the gist of it.
Some guy from the Heat (maybe Bibby) slipped while taking a shot just inside the three point line. Whoever was guarding (maybe Turner) him was being careful to make sure he wasn't called for a foul. The shooter fell on his rear and just flailed the ball up. As he laid on the floor the guy from the Sixers was standing by the three point line and looking at the Heat player...not sure why. The shot was up and hit the top of the bang board. It bounced high in the air and went all the way out to the three point line and hit the guy from the Sixers who was just standing there in the back of the head and scared the living crap out of him. I need someone to put that play on YouTube.

He was amazing.
I would have rather had my Nuggets play anyone (and I mean ANYONE) but the Thunder in round 1. Just not a good matchup, because they are the one team that can compete athletically with Denver.
Oh well, it turned out to be a fun Nuggets team to watch...... and the future looks bright.
