Re: Mizzou 2010 Hoops
One of the 2012 kids who is highly rated is a foreign kid who committed as a freshman. I'm always leery of foreign bigs who haven't been challenged in the states (see: Loe, Rob).
Hairy could get talent, but couldn't win road games at all, let big leads get away routinely, and his offense was all spread you out and chuck three's. I don't have the info in front of me, but I'm confident they shot the most three's in the ACC. if they went in, they'd win. If not, they'd look awful.
In seven seasons, this never changed.

Of all of the possible hires, can any of you think of one that would've been worse?

Even my joke answers are falling short.JL21 wrote:Of all of the possible hires, can any of you think of one that would've been worse?
Another overlooked fact about this is now that we've poached Haith, it appears likely Miami will go after Frank Martin. I'm not a Martin fan by any means, but I'd root for his teams to beat the Jayhawks every day of the week.

Is it poaching when the other school says, "No, that's OK--you can have him. We'll even pick up the tab for the moving truck."?

This day can already kiss my fat hairy white ass.
Has Pressey transferred yet? Is Marcus Denmon giving up hoops for transcendental meditation in a Tibetan monestary? Maybe Mike Alden can come over to my house and just kick me in the balls.@goodmanonfox
Missouri's Kim English will declare for NBA Draft; will not sign with agent. Sources told FOXSports.com decision made prior to Haith hiring.

I know you love the U and all but ... elite academically? Sure, it's a fine school and all but it's not like they are Vandy or Northwestern unable to take on dumbasses.

Kim was on Twitter last night saying he was disappointed with the response of Mizzou fans. I understand he had to say that, but if you're going to leave, why bother saying anything?JL21 wrote:This day can already kiss my fat hairy white ass.

I took it as a sign that he cares about the university and the hoops program as a whole. I don't mind him saying that at all, whether he stays or goes. But that's just me.MrCrowesGarden wrote:Kim was on Twitter last night saying he was disappointed with the response of Mizzou fans. I really like Kim English but declaring for the draft seems like as horrible a move as Mike Alden hiring Frank [expletive] Haith. Speaking of which, just about every photo you find of Frank Haith in a GIS looks like he's taking a big fat [expletive]. A big fat [expletive] on my hopes for Mizzou hoops. I present to you the "Frank Haith taking a monster poop on my Mizzou hoops hopes" montage, spoilered because it's a metric [expletive] ton of photos:
