The print's actually like this.Michael wrote:Actually, that's smaller than I would have expected.
I said the same. It's only a little more than 5,000 pages. Which, upon further inspection, can't be accurate. There are over a million entries, right?RxOfCowbell wrote:++Michael wrote:Actually, that's smaller than I would have expected.
I don't believe it.

Obama Decrees Marriage Unconstitutional
Department of Justice Declines to Defend DOMA
Dear Friend,
President Obama is playing “pick and choose” with the Constitution and our laws.
As I am writing this, the controversy over Attorney General Eric Holder’s announcement over Obama’s decree on marriage is still echoing.
This is the single greatest assault on marriage and our Constitution I have ever witnessed.
President Obama is ruling by decree, finding the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA) as being unconstitutional. Therefore, both Obama and the Department of Justice now refuse to support DOMA.
I urgently need your help. The U.S. Constitution is literally at stake.
This is why I am asking you for $25 straight away.
Right now, Rep. Vicki Hartzler (R-MO) is pushing a House resolution -- H. Cong. Res. 25 -- to condemn Obama’s overtly political move not to defend DOMA, and communicate in the strongest possible terms that the Department of Justice should stand up for marriage and the rule of law.
This resolution is currently moving through Congress, and we are doing everything we can to clearly tell Washington that the American people stand for marriage.
Can I count on you to help?
But if $25 is simply too much to ask right now, I urgently need your response immediately with a donation of even $20 or $15 as quick as you can.
The situation is truly that desperate.
The bottom line is that we need to raise an army of likeminded Americans to sustain the fight and help restore Constitutional limitations on Obama’s attempt to rule and reign by executive decree.
Speaker John Boehner is willing to hire a team of lawyers to defend the Defense of Marriage Act in court. The good news? DOMA may be assured of a strong defense for the next 21 months.
The bad news? With at least 9 cases currently pending on DOMA (and more to come), the U.S. House will have to hire private counsel to defend marriage, as well as count on the support of organizations such as Traditional Values Coalition for guidance.
Not only do we need to raise an army of likeminded Americans willing to defend marriage and family, we need to make sure the U.S. House knows they have your support.
Won't you please help with a rushed gift of just $25 right away?
Most importantly, we need to make sure Obama does not go unchallenged. To do that, I need to be able to task my staff to get the word out, do the research, and get that information to lawmakers and legal staff just as quick as we can.
TIME IS NOT ON OUR SIDE.
I’m asking you to help us. Marriage is under siege. Your response to this e-mail today is urgently needed -- and appreciated.
Constitutional restraints must be restored or Obama will repeat this action again and again...
Sincerely,
Rev. Louis P. Sheldon
Founder
Traditional Values Coalition
P.S. I have been warning members of Congress and a number of pastors that Obama would never remain content to faithfully execute our laws according to the Constitution. Obama’s unconstitutional usurpation of power has to be stopped NOW -- and I can only do that with the resources provided from people such as you.
PPS: If you can give today, I thank you in advance. Please know that I will spend every dime just as carefully as I would spend my own. The effort to fight back against Obama’s attempt to rule and reign by executive decree will not be an easy one. That’s why I needed to send this to you straight away to let you know personally what was going on in Washington. Thank you for your support!
Yea, if you give me a million dollars, I'll carefully spend it the way if I had actually earned a million dollars.Radbird wrote: PPS: If you can give today, I thank you in advance.
