Have a classical Pandora station that I was trying to spice up by adding some of the stuff in this thread -which can be a tricky business with the titling. Anyhow, I welcomed when it varied from the symphony classical and played some jazz trio music. Then suddenly it is Tighten Up by Black Keys, Rebellion -Arcade Fire.

No idea how it happened. Odd mix. I'm rolling with it though.

A little old but interesting nonetheless.

The Greatest
HERE goes. This article completes my two-week project to select the top 10 classical music composers in history, not including those still with us. The argument, laid out in a series of articles, online videos and blog posts, was enlivened by the more than 1,500 informed, challenging, passionate and inspiring comments from readers of The New York Times. As often as I could, I answered direct questions online and jumped into the discussion.

Thanks for posting that. I've been meaning to read it, but just haven't had the time. I'd better hurry over there before the pay wall goes up.

I saw this group, Trio con Brio Copenhagen, in Louisville about ten days ago. This isn't the complete first movement to Beethoven's Archduke trio, but it is almost ten minutes' worth.
