I really want Oklahoma City to do well if the Bulls are knocked out. I love Durant and it's fun to watch a smaller city get behind their team like that.

Chicago Bulls legend and team ambassador Scottie Pippen will join Comcast SportsNet's game announcing tandem of Neil Funk and Stacey King as an additional game analyst for the network.

The six-time NBA champion and Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame Class of 2010 inductee will make his announcing debut on Friday, March 4 at Orlando (6:00 p.m. start). Pippen will also handle game analyst duties for every Bulls playoff telecast on Comcast SportsNet beginning in mid-April.

And it's fun to see a league commissioner and a billionaire owner defecate all over another city and its basketball fans and succeed, too. Durant is an electric player, and by all accounts a real good dude, but I will never support the Thunder, ever.

I wouldn't count the Nuggets out just yet. They beat the Celtics by 14 last night. The new emphasis on defense and ball distribution is going to be fun to watch....... and they've still got some pretty decent talent on that team.
I don't think they did terribly bad in the deal, but there are like 20 games left and they have to play at a pretty high level. Miami is one of the best teams in the league with tons of talent and it took them 20 games to not be mediocre.

Noticing how bad Milwaukee has been this year, I was curious how our old friend John Salmons was doing, given that he is no longer in a contract year. Sure enough, shooting 39%. Shocking.

Denver's coach George Karl said last night that Carmelo Anthony never gave defensive commitment while playing for him. Carmelo's response? Via Twitter:
Damn, are u serious? Some people never seize to amaze me. Unbelievable.
This, after last week's comments where he said "I take my hat off to myself".......

The guy is quite a card!

You're reading it wrong. Carmello just wanted to see Karl have a seizure.

The no defense show appears in the Big Apple. Stoudemire 31 pts, Anthony 27 and Billups 26 in a 115-109 loss to the Cavs.

Gallinari is much better than I thought he was. I thought he was just a tall jump shooter, but he's got some game. Of course the Blazers are very undersized tonight, but he looks good. I don't see much of the East, definitely not the Knicks the last few years.

OKC and LAL tonight. The Thunder have to look a lot scarier to the Lakers these days. Perkins is out, though (which could become a pattern).
