Looks like Aaron Brooks to the Suns for Dragic and a 1st...
Also, rumor of OJ Mayo to the Pacers for Josh McRoberts and a 1st (haha).

I have 94 new tweets that I haven't read. I'm looking forward to this. I love trade deadline days.

Looks like Gerald Wallace to Portland went through, but conflicting reports on what Charlotte's getting back. They all involve Pryzbilla, but the draft picks range anywhere from two 1st rounders to one 2nd.

It was definitely fun to follow, but definitely not fun as a Bulls fan who really, really wanted to see some new blood on the team. I am pretty keen on Omer Asik, sure, but I think either Mayo or Lee would have really helped the Bulls' playoff chances.

Pryz for Gerald Wallace. Good deal, Mr. Sai.
I'm having a hard time processing the Green/Perkins trade. I think what we can see is that the Celtics aren't afraid of the Magic or Lakers.

Re: NBA 10-11
New Orleans apparently pulled out of a three-team deal that would've sent Mayo to IND, McRoberts and picks to MEM and Brandon Rush to NO.
Can't blame Demps too much if at all for this trade deadline. He made the team better with a Thornton for Landry swap. Can't fault him for being unable to do much else.
Just have to hope the Green/Belinelli monster at SG holds up. Green has been a whole lot better than what I was expecting.

I like Wallace. I like this deal a lot. Neither of those draft picks will be very good. Pryzbilla won't even suit up for Cha (He may even come back to Portland) and Dante is a throw-in, although somewhat lovable bench guy. Wallace gives us defense, rebounding, and a little more offensive versatility than Batum offers. And Batum, Wallace and Matthews make three great defenders who can defend multiple positions.
I have no idea where Charlotte is going. If any team ever needed to tank a season and pray for #1 its them now.
I'm fairly surprised Mayo is worth that little, and don't really understand the OKC move.

I think it's a good move for OKC; Green was relatively expendable with Durant logging lots of minutes. If (if, if) Perkins can stay healthy, he's a top-10 center and makes OKC pretty awesome sounding.
Pretty low expectations for the Bulls tonight, after that lackluster Toronto game. I hope someone shows some fire against Miami other than D Wade in the 4th and Noah when he gets limited minutes.

That OKC front line looks a lot better to me now. Starting Perkins and Serge together will give them some size and power up front. I was never crazy about Jeff Green and didn't think his game suited Westbrook and Durant all that well.Maclowery wrote:I think it's a good move for OKC; Green was relatively expendable with Durant logging lots of minutes. Also, I don't want OKC to be good, because now that Denver and Utah are almost certainly out, the division goes to them or us. And also Clay Bennett is an expletive.

Re: NBA 10-11
Bulls will win tonight. They were looking ahead last night, and the effort on D that was missing will be here tonight.
