i agree with arnett "always" playing Gob (though IIRC, he was on an L&O:SVU episode and was "serious")...but i always laugh at arnett

I just stumbled onto Better off Ted on Netflix. I can't believed I, and apparently most of America, missed this show. Absolutely hilarious, especially Lem and Phil.

Okay, tonight's The Office, while pretty out of character for the show, made up for this whole crappy season.

And Parks and Rec was still infinity times better.

I loved the show, too bad it didn't last. Lem and Phil are great. Ellen Degeneres' wife is pretty funny, and hot, in the show as well.

+++

For some reason I find the blonde chick, not Ellen's wife, to be ridiculously hot. I think it's because she's believably attractive instead of some of the flawless women they usually get to play those roles.

I gave Lights Out on FX a five-minute look, and I'm pretty sure that's the only five minutes I'm giving to it. I'm sure the subtlety of boxing can be difficult to translate to the big or the small screen, but it's inexcusable that still to this day nobody thinks they can convey who is winning or losing a match in a realistic way. The hero stands with his hands at his waist and a stupid look on his face, and absorbs a hundred straight punches to his face until it's time for the comeback, whereupon the villain stands with his hands at his waist and a stupid look on his face as the hero rains punches upon it.

I don't give a [expletive] if it's better than Raging Bull once the show steps out of the ring, I can't keep watching through that idiocy.

I agree. I've also hit my saturation point with character dramas on FX. I'll stick to Justified and be fine leaving everything else alone.
